Meet the Villagers

Piedmont... a Northern Village on the outskirts of the Northern Forests lived the Commander of Piedmont and his beloved Companion. They awaited the first born child of their union which was close at hand.

One night, almost edging onto the early hours of the Morning the Commanders companion went into labour. She, herself was of the Physicians Caste. The labour was long and hard tiring the Physician. A few Ahns later a shout was heard... the village was being invaded. Torvies were passing through burning everything they could. The Commander was vexed to leave his Companion, but he knew his place was leading his Men to defend. He gave strict orders to the attending Physician to get his woman to safety and he would be back when all was calm.
