Women are to be presentable and acting as free women. A woman that disgraces herself or the village may be taken and punished in Jarl's Court. This punishment may result in being thrown in the bond circle. The woman may then choose to walk out of the circle as a bond and be branded and enslaved immediately or stay in the circle until she expires. No assistance would be provided to the woman. A woman can not be pushed or forced out of the circle.
Women are to work beside the men to provide to the Village for survival in the harsh climate that face the village.
Women of HeimFjord are not required to wear robes of concealment or veils and may wear their hair loose or braided as with the customs of the North.
There is no claiming of a free woman as a mate in the hold.

Raiding
We have been asked over and over why we are a “NO RAID” village. I hope to explain why, and then give ideas as to what CAN be done in HeimFjord.
We want to encourage Roleplay and stories. It is not enough for us to land in the village and begin shooting at people without roleplay. What we don’t encourage is female fighters that are not in the books.
WE ARE NOT A BTB OR A GE SIM! We value ourselves as a “before the BTB/GE twaddle” sim
So… if you are female and wearing pants, dressed as a man, wear bow and sword, have an axe, call yourself Zena, then you are not welcome in HeimFjord. .
If you are a male, land on the boat, eye up a slave and down her with your meter and carry her off without RP or her OOC consent then you are also not welcome in HeimFjord.
Gor always has risk, and we want to bring back this element that is missing in modern SL Gor, without the drama that can come with it.
If you would like to have some conflict RP with someone in the village then we can proceed as follows:
1. Ask the person OOC in IM’s if they would be up for it
2. Ask the person for any limits they may have
3. Plan it
4. Let the Village leaders know.
5. Roleplay your arrival in local chat and play the story out.
6. Make sure that anything done to the person is done on sim, if you take the person off sim, make sure it’s consented and a trail is left.
7. We can trade in ZCS coins after a given time
What we don’t agree with is:,
GROUP RAIDS, NON CONSENTING RAIDS, CAPTURES THAT DEFY A PERSONS PERSONAL LIMITS.
Let us build a rapport and trust with a group, so we can play out eventually full raids that are consenting, fun and drama free.
We welcome Panthers, Male outlaws, Male Mercs etc.
We also welcome panthers to come and trade. Come in disguise as free women (you can roleplay stealing a dress from someones clothesline), but keep your panther personality. This is fun RP and benefits both groups.
I hope this gives some idea as to how to bring this element of controlled risk to the village.
